I'm thrilled to reveal my official arrangement of "Arena 2 (Power Plant)" from Team OpenOMF's remake of One Must Fall: 2097!
Initially developed by Diversions Entertainment for DOS in 1994, OMF:2097 featured Human Assisted Robots (HARs), who fought to the bitter, oil-slicked end! The game was marketed as a "non-violent" alternative to other fighting games of the time, which were considered taboo by North American parents in the early 90's. In addition to its unique roster, OMF: 2097 also saw players dodging dangerous hazards across every stage, further distinguishing it from the competition.
For over a decade, Team OpenOMF has been working tirelessly to remake the original game for modern hardware. The remake promises to deliver new features such as updated graphics, controls, and music and aims to introduce new players and hardcore veterans alike to an all-time cult classic!
Huge thanks to Kamekaze, Katajakasa and Vagabond for allowing me to contribute ❤️

That’s fun. I hope this game comes back. I enjoyed it when I was in high school

It's wild because I didn't even know of this game's existence until they hired me for the gig!
Kudos to the devs for working on this for over a decade, I would never have the patience for that sort of long-term commitment
